About
I’m Ash(they/them), a Madison WI based illustrator and 3D artist. Wisconsin state parks shaped much of my journey as an artist, serving as a major source of inspiration and knowledge when I dove face first back into illustrating post art school. Nowadays I still draw from that love of nature, but now blended with my love of gaming and my two cats; Nocticula and Panini.
I primarily draw in Photoshop and 3D model in Blender. I also use UVtools and Chitubox in my 3D workflow. I recently picked up Procreate for sketching on the go.
What Software do you use?
Yes, my figurines are my own designs that I have modeled, printed, and processed. I do every step from start to finish myself. I actually planned to be a 3D texture artist after I graduated college, but honestly nothing could keep me away from illustrating.
Do you make your own 3D files?
Besides weird art medium deep dives, I’m a big gaming nerd. Board games, video games, and tabletop gaming like Pathfinder. I also love hiking, gardening, and have started to learn to sew!
